Common mistakes
Ordering after 1pm and expecting same-day
Most attempts succeed before 8pm but the 11am cutoff is what guarantees coverage. Past 11am we still try but switch to rush (next-business-day).
Wrong defendant address
Avoid the "I think they moved last year" guess — if the home attempt fails we log the failed attempt with photo + GPS proof and either re-dispatch to a fresh address you provide or run skip-trace as a paid add-on.
Asking for personal service on a corp defendant
CCP §416.10 requires service on the registered agent or an authorized officer. We auto-look up the agent address from the SOS registry.

What counts as "same day"?
First attempt at the defendant address on the same business day the order is placed, when received before 11am local time in a flagship CA metro. Outside flagship metros we quote case-by-case.
What if the first attempt fails?
Same-day pricing covers up to 5 attempts. Follow-up attempts (CCP §415.20 diligence requires 3+) are folded into the $229 Expedited tier — no extra charge per attempt.
Can you serve a non-business-day same-day?
Weekend + holiday service is courier-add-on; not all servers are available. Best-effort, quoted in advance.
