For law firms.

Paralegal-built workflow for firms running 5-200 services a month — bulk intake, per-case card billing, monthly statements, dashboard visibility.

Servd is built for the paralegal. The chat surface is fast, asks the right questions in the right order, and never wastes a paralegal's time on yes/no confirmations that any process serving workflow already has. Drop in the complaint PDF and the AI extracts caption, parties, court, case number, and address. Confirm in one click. Pay in chat with a card on file through Square — every case is paid up-front per case. The dispatcher does the rest.

Multi-case visibility lives on the dashboard. See every active case across the firm, filter by attorney or paralegal, sort by hearing date, and drill into any case for the full attempt timeline with photos, GPS pins, and the signed affidavit. We surface what matters — pending dispatch, in-progress attempts, completed affidavits ready to file — without forcing anyone to dig.

Billing and back-office matter. Firms get a single end-of-month statement with case-by-case line items, attorney and matter codes for billable pass-through, and a downloadable CSV for accounting. Card on file for repeat work. Servd does NOT offer Net-15, Net-30, Net-60, or any deferred-payment terms — every case is paid up-front per case. We don't lock you into a tier or a minimum.

Why it matters

What's hard about this and how we handle it

The specific challenges the workflow is designed for.

Paralegal-first chat

The intake chat is built for the person who actually orders the serve. Plain English questions, no legal hand-holding, no upsell. Drop the PDF, confirm caption, dispatch. Most cases close intake in under 2 minutes.

Multi-case dashboard

Every case the firm has open, in one view. Filter by attorney code, hearing date, jurisdiction, status. Click into a case to see the attempt log, photos, GPS pins, and the affidavit when it lands.

Card-on-file + monthly statements

Every case is charged at order time via the firm card on file through Square. No Net-15, Net-30, or deferred terms. End of month we ship a consolidated statement with case-by-case line items, attorney + matter codes, and a CSV for billable pass-through to clients.

White-glove account rep

For firms running over 50 cases a month, a named account rep is on standby for escalation, batch coordination, and the occasional urgent overnight. Servd dedicates rep time rather than rotating a generic queue.

Audit trail for malpractice insurance

Every action — chat message, attempt, GPS pin, photo, affidavit signing — is timestamped in the case audit log. Malpractice carriers and bar inquiries get a complete record on request.

We replaced three vendors with Servd. Same-day status, no phone tag, affidavits the same day service completes. Our litigation paralegals got back about six hours a week.

FAQ

Questions

What paralegals and pro se litigants ask most often.

Do you offer Net-15 or Net-30 invoicing?

No. Servd does not offer Net-15, Net-30, Net-60, or any other deferred-payment terms — for any customer type, including firms, corporate legal, and government accounts. Every case is paid up-front via card through Square at order time. We do ship a consolidated end-of-month statement with case-by-case line items, attorney + matter codes, and a CSV for billable pass-through. Government clients pay by purchase order funded up-front or by government P-card.

Can multiple paralegals access the same firm account?

Yes. Firms are organizations in Servd; admins invite paralegals and attorneys, set role permissions, and see every case the firm has open. Each user has their own chat thread but the firm's case ledger is shared.

What's the minimum volume?

None. Order one serve a year or 200 a month — same flat rate, same workflow. We do not enforce minimums or tier-gates.

Do you do conflicts checks or matter intake?

No. That is the firm's job. Servd accepts the matter as you provide it. We do not perform conflicts checks, intake interviews, or any task within the practice of law.

Can I download all my affidavits for a year?

Yes. Export from the billing dashboard as a ZIP. Useful for malpractice insurance, year-end accounting, and bar audits.
