Our refund policy.

Servd charges flat fees per case, paid up-front via card. We refund in one specific scenario — and we don't offer partial refunds.

We didn't make every attempt in your service window

100% refund

If we didn't complete every attempt before your deadline, you get a full refund. That's the trigger. Email us with your case number and we process it back to the card you paid with.

Service was completed

No refund

If the defendant was personally served, sub-served, posted, or refused service on the record — the job is done. We delivered the affidavit the court asked for. No refund.

Failure was on facts you provided

No refund

Wrong address you gave us, wrong defendant name, address turned out to be a PO box, defendant moved without forwarding — we still ran the attempts you paid for. No refund. (We do offer a skip-trace add-on for $59 to locate a new address.)

A few notes.

  • Every Servd case is paid up-front via card through Square. We do not invoice on Net-15, Net-30, Net-60, or any other deferred terms — for any role, including government and corporate.
  • Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Most show up in 5–10 business days.
  • Skip trace fees are non-refundable once the search has been run, since that's the entire deliverable.
  • “Delivery window” means the SLA window of the tier you picked (Standard 3–5 business days, Rush 24–48 hours, Same-day same business day). We attempt up to 3 times within that window unless you authorize stopping earlier.
